About
AH023 is 1,200 sq. ft. of coziness. Relax in the pristine, private setting of Aspen Lake. You'll see Central Oregon wildlife drinking at the water's edge as abundant waterbirds fly in. Floor to ceiling living room windows and large bedroom windows and sliders provide expansive views. Breathe in refreshing breezes from the Cascade Range, while relaxing outside on the spacious deck or nearby lakeside bench.
The living/dining area opens into the renovated galley kitchen. The new dining room table seats 6. Pass-through shelves make serving food easy. The living room has a new sectional couch and comfortable rocking chair. Watch a movie on the large flat screen TV or curl up with a good book surrounded by floor to ceiling views.
The king bedroom is off the entry, next to the recently remodeled bath, shared with the adjoining bunk room. The restful king bedroom has deck access through a slider. The charming 2nd floor bedroom has a 3/4 bath, and a queen bed with views of Aspen Lake. The bunk room has 2 comfortable wooden bunks with a chair futon available for a child. A stacked washer/dryer are in the hallway.
The location, ambiance and convenience of this vacation home brings guests back to Black Butte Ranch again and again!
INTERNET & TV | All of our homes provide Wi-Fi Internet and Cable or Streaming services. You will be provided with the Wi-Fi Network and Password upon arrival.
PARKING | All guests must park their vehicles in the driveway or designated lot.
BICYCLES | We do not guarantee the use of bicycles with the rental of our homes, but you can explore the 23.4 miles of bike paths by renting a bicycle at the Glaze Meadow Recreational Center's Bike Shop.
LENGTH OF STAY | Our properties require a minimum stay of 3-nights in the slower season and 6-nights in the peak season. If you wish to check availability outside of those perimeters, or are having difficulty booking on-line, please contact us.
VRBO | If you book with VRBO, your Reservation is confirmed with VRBO and transferred to Black Butte Realty Group. All VRBO bookings are subject to VRBO fees in addition to our set fees.
SECURITY DEPOSIT | A security deposit is needed for each reservation. If there is not any damage determined at our closing inspection, 100% of your Security Deposit will be returned within 10 - 14 business days of your departure.
BBR RESORT ACCESS | All guest vehicles must be registered at the Black Butte Ranch Welcome Center upon arrival. Your Access Fee to all the Black Butte Ranch amenities will be included in your Reservation charges and is based on a percentage of your nightly Rental rate. This fee allows all parties in your group to access all Black Butte Ranch amenities. You no longer need to pay a daily access fee for each member in your party.
CANCELLATION POLICY | Cancellation Requests received in writing at least 30 days prior to your arrival date will be refunded 100%. Requests received less than 30 days before the arrival date are not eligible for a refund. If you need to cancel at the last minute, you will have the choice to transfer your payments to an alternate booking in the same house during the same calendar year. If you made your reservation with a third-party booking agent, you may have a separate Cancellation policy with that agent.
PROPERTY ADDRESS | KEY ACCESS | Four days prior to your arrival date you will receive the property's physical address and the code to retrieve the door key from the lock box.

We had the best time--this house was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in, the house had everything you could possibly need (bike rack, games, ice cream scoop, extra pillows and blankets), comfortable beds and a huge couch, an amazing back deck looking out over Aspen Lake, and the perfect location in Black Butte. We loved being here.

We really enjoy staying here. Although the floor plan is a little tight, it is decorated nicely. It was very clean on arrival. The view of Aspen Lake all day is so nice. The Realty group was good to work with due to their responsiveness and flexibility.

We loved this quaint cabin looking out over Aspen Lake. My fiancé and I traveled with my parents and it was the perfect amount of space. We loved watching the deer walk by the large living room window as we drank our morning coffee snuggled up in the Pendleton blankets. The sunny deck outside was the perfect spot to play all kinds of games with an afternoon cocktail. We absolutely loved how charming this cabin was.

It was totally worth it as the beautiful setting, well equipped kitchen and wonderful fireplace were perfect, We made the most of the trails for walking on the property and had a wonderful breakfast at the Lakeside Bistro. The location is a short bike ride to the Rec Center/pools/activities which would be good for families. It is a longer distance to the store, Lodge, and Bistro. We loved seeing a doe/fawn and really enjoyed seeing mares & foals in the big meadow. BBR is a magical place!

My husband and I spent a week at this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and in a beautiful location. Stayed here for 4 nights. Have been to this house before, but this is the first time we’ve stayed since the remodel. We love the location and proximity to Aspen Lake and paths. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Saw lots of wildlife passing through the area behind the property and in the lake. Our family was distance learning and working remotely, and the internet connection was more than adequate to handle the 4 of us on Zoom calls and conferences with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

I vow to return to Aspen House #23. It is the perfect spot for a getaway. Aspen Lake is very close to the deck. The place was spotless and was nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything a home cook would want. Nice touches throughout the house. Only minor disappointment, no bikes available to renters.
